VP/PowerMaster kicked off the 2012 R/C Pro Texas State series with a bang taking four out of the top five spots in Open Buggy and all five of the top five spots in Open Truggy. VP/PowerMaster driver, Jason Branham, cranked it up in Open buggy taking TQ and fighting off VP/PowerMaster teammate, Jake Dellinger, for most of the race in the 45-min A-main. Jason would prevail taking the victory with Jake finishing a close second. Mike Battaile also made his presence in the final poking his nose into the mix from time to time and finishing out with the fourth spot.
Denver Houghton rounded off the top five with a fifth place finish. All PowerMaster Open Buggy drivers used VP/PowerMaster Nitro Race 30% Car fuel.

Chris Marrant stepped it up finishing a solid second with Nick Sublette landing third. Denver Houghton drove strong to finish fourth while Mark Morrow rounded out the top five.
